The original Zuanzhuan® has been improved with new features, like a 2-way rotating barrel, a fourth, higher heat, new ionic brush bristles and 20% increased barrel RPM speed. The Thermal Guard, Cool Tip and upgraded features are for additional comfort and safety.

Simple: A flat iron compresses, mashes and literally bakes your hair between two scalding hot plates. The Zuanzhuan® 's rotating, polishing barrel gives your hair the necessary heat to style and straighten, but since the barrel is constantly moving, it won’t focus all its heat directly onto one section of hair - NO “press and bake” – therefore, no heat damage. The Zuanzhuan® also features a floating plate between the two rows of bristles. This conductive unit automatically adjusts, allowing the hair more consistent contact with the barrel. The result is fewer frizzes and smoother, shinier hair with no creasing. The polishing barrel allows the Zuanzhuan® to actually apply less heat than a flat iron, with a lighter grip and better results – including perfect flips, curls and loads of luscious volume.

Close the handle to start rotation, which will begin automatically.

Close the Zuanzhuan® twice quickly and the barrel will automatically begin rotating in the opposite direction. See page 5 for detailed instructions.

It is referring to the barrel size. For the long hair or thick hair, people would like to buy the 32mm version. For the short hair and tighter curls, we would recommend using the 19mm version. For details, please refer to the product features & benefits.

If you’re having trouble styling the ends, try holding the Zuanzhuan® Rotating Iron on your ends for a few seconds longer. The ends of the hair are normally the driest part of the hair, and can be a bit more difficult to set. It helps to use a good conditioner, especially on the ends, to help infuse moisture into the hair shaft. Also, if you have split ends, the hair may come out looking frizzy.

Go Slowly. It helps to completely dry, comb and detangle your hair as much as possible. Position the Zuanzhuan® so that the barrel rotates with the direction of your hair. Also, keep in mind to put as little tension as possible on the barrel. This will help keep frizz to a minimum.

Absolutely! The Zuanzhuan® is a great appliance for natural curl hair because it won’t leave crease marks like flat irons do, and the black hard anodized barrel and ionic bristles will leave the hair looking shiny and beautiful. The Zuanzhuan® is safe for any type of hair when used properly. You will get best results if your hair is dry, combed and detangled.

We get asked this question a lot. We’re proud to say you can add this one to the old “hair styling myths” column! With the Zuanzhuan®, you don’t need a lot of heat to straighten and style your hair! The Zuanzhuan®’s unique design actually allows you to use less damaging heat than you would with a flat iron or other hot tool. It’s a totally new way of thinking about heat styling – you don’t need extreme heat to get the results you want! And there are four heat settings, so the amount of heat you apply is entirely up to you.

You can use any salon quality product with your Zuanzhuan®, although we do not recommend using any oil-based products on your hair beforehand. A professional thermal protectant spray can be applied to the hair before you style, as well as any professional firm-up or styling spray to help hold the style.

No! The Zuanzhuan® is not burning your hair! This is just a by-product of the evaporation of built-up conditioner or styling products, and is completely normal.

Yes. Make sure you start working with the Zuanzhuan® below where the extension is attached. Do not drag the Zuanzhuan® through the hair with any pressure, as you may inadvertently pull out the extension. NEVER use your Zuanzhuan® with synthetic hair.

Zuanzhuan® is specially designed for Hong Kong market and we have obtained the necessary safety certificate. We do not suggest using Zuanzhuan® in other countries.

For warranty registrations, after input all the information, there will be a small pop up box suggesting registration complete. If the errors repeated, you could send us the serial number and your personal information by email and we can register for you.

You must register the warranty of your Zuanzhuan® online in order to enjoy 1 year free maintenance service from the date of purchase. If you can register within 14days from the purchasing date, then you can enjoy an extra 3 month warranty service. Even though you have registered warranty online, please continue to keep the original invoice for reference.

It is normal for the heat to fluctuate during use. As long as the Zuanzhuan® has been allowed to reach full heat (steady LED) after powering on, you can continue to use your appliance while the LED is flashing.

When cleaning your Zuanzhuan®, disconnect it from the power source and make sure it has completely cooled. Wipe the outside surface only with a soft, damp cloth. Be sure to wring out excess water before applying it to the unit. Clean more severe dirt by using a soft, damp cloth with a mild soap. Ionic bristles can be lightly scrubbed if necessary with a damp cloth, to remove any built-up product. Residual hair left in the bristles should be removed. The barrel can be wiped down with a soft, damp cloth. Use a mild soap if necessary. Make sure the Zuanzhuan® is completely dry before plugging it into a power source.
